Hostel Luckenwalde

A former hostel for apprentices, where we have been accommodating asylum seekers and foreign refugees since 2000, is situated at the outskirts of Luckenwalde.

We are able to accommodate up to 90 persons in the two-storey building. Each floor comprises of several WCs, shower/washrooms as well as a large shared kitchen. The occupants have the opportunity of doing their washing in the central washing machine room. Due to the close vicinity of shops, there is no need for shopping opportunities within the building.

The social support is carried out in close cooperation with the rural district. There is a playroom for children, where under guidance, handicraft presents are made for special occasions, such as Mother’s day, Christmas, etc. A children's playground and large grass areas invite to take part in further leisure activities.
