Management Software
For many years European Homecare has implemented and used a specifically written software programme to improve the management and the services provided to asylum seekers. Our software in a nutshell:
- It is a software holding all the relevant information to monitor our services to asylum seekers
- A special “EHC Service Card” can be printed and handed out to each asylum seeker
- The card identifies the asylum seeker to the EHC or security staff and entitles him/her to get all services under contract with the local authority
- the software is also a modern “bed occupancy management” system as it holds the information on the capacity/occupancy of all rooms at a centre
- It has 100% accuracy as it serves as the basis of our billing per asylum seeker per day to authorities (if applicable)
- Management can use the software to run statistics on the occupancy, countries represented, female/male ratio, adult/children ratio and many more and can therefore be used to
- Produce weekly occupancy reports and absence reports
- Access to the software is protected according to data protection requirements (Data Protection Acts) and has a password protection with different authorisation levels (will not allow “drag & drop”, prevents screen pictures to be taken, restricts list views and printing to authorised personnel only)
- The software assigns a unique bar code to every asylum seeker and allows easy automated verification for identification purposes
- It also allows the use of “mobile” bar code readers for security staff with no direct access to the system (“Offline Identification”)
- The software can hold specific information such as: dietary/medical needs, car license plate numbers, school enrolment, special issues of relevance to management (like concerns, requirements etc.)
