“Welcome Information” – upon arrival at the centre the resident will be given all necessary information to make his first days at the centre as easy and comfortable as possible: house rules, child protection policy, menus and meal times, hours of welfare office, schedule for laundry, bus service, nurses, opening hours for additional social services depending on local situation such as psychological counselling, kindergarten, program for minors, protected housing for single women/mothers etc. will be provided. “Daily Information” – the availability of staff is key to providing information when needed. Staff will be instructed to answer questions about the daily life in and outside the facility and assist/help/coordinate in emergencies should they occur.
